The Center of Excellence in Education for Health, Inc.' s VISION is a community of self-directed, empowered individuals who have enhanced their own health at a level that is important to them, at their own pace, via meaningful, research and theory-based, quality educational opportunities offered to them.
The Center' s MISSION is to serve as a catalys for, or provide/facilitate, meaningful, research and theory-based, quality educational opportunities, on-line via the HEEF, that are designed specifically to enhance health of volunteer participants.
The Center's objectives includes significant changes in health behavior related to the educational programs and/or intervention it facilitates or provides. All programs are evaluated for quality, as well as impact on knowledge, attitudes, practices (skill enhancement), and health behaviors. We only engage clients who are interested in impact, not just process (ie qulity of presentation versus impact of presentation). We engage clients who are committed to change.
The Center works with CHES men and women who have at least one year of practice in the real world.
